FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, namely, apparatuses for blowing melt metal by gas at metal refining, possibly in non-ferrous metallurgy and chemical industry for blowing solutions and melts. SUBSTANCE: tuyere includes heat-insulation housing in the form of tube with cylindrical through cavity in which cylindrical insert is mounted. Cylindrical insert has cross section area less than that of cylindrical through cavity. There is through gas duct between wall surface of through cylindrical cavity and lateral surface of cylindrical insert. The last is made of sections of the same cross section areas, spaced one from another at side of their end surfaces and mutually joined by means of bridges rigid in lengthwise direction. Each section of insert has at least one lengthwise rib for mounting section in cylindrical through cavity of housing by sliding fit. First section is reliably fixed against lengthwise displacement relative to housing. Such construction eliminates necessity for fixing each section of insert to wall of tubular housing. EFFECT: simplified assembling procedure of tuyere, lowered metal consumption of tubular housing due to reduced thickness of its wall. 14 cl, 13 dwg
