FIELD: mechanical engineering; fuel systems of diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: spray tip has hollow body with fuel feed channel and seat, nose with well, swirling device made in form of screw slots arranged under well, and swirl chamber. Shutoff needle is installed in space of spray tip body with forming if underneedle chamber communicating with fuel feed channel. Screw slots get into swirl chamber and communicate with well. Spray tip has bushing. Screw slots are made on outer side surface of nose. Bushing is secured on nose to form swirl chamber and nozzle hole between inner surface of bushing and outer surface of nose. Inner surface of bushing is made converging. End face surface of nose is made in form of cone with vertex pointed to nozzle hole. End face surface of bushing at side of nozzle hole is provided with step. Summary area of cross section of screw slots is 0.6-1.2 of nozzle hole through section area, and ratio of maximum inner diameter of bushing to diameter of nozzle hole varies within 2 and 4.
