FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to battery fuel systems of diesel engines. Proposed electrohydraulic nozzle for diesel engine with battery fuel system has housing with fuel feed and drain channels, spray tip needle, spray tip, needle lock spring, locking booster, booster bushing, hydraulic control chamber jet, hydraulic control ball valve, rod, armature, electromagnet and spring of hydraulic control valve. Centrifugal valve spray tip is used in nozzle including vortex chamber, tangential channels delivering fuel to vortex chamber, shutoff conical part of spray tip needle and cylindrical nozzle orifice. Total area of cross section of tangential channels is 0.2-0.3 of area of cross section of nozzle orifice. Ratio of diameter of vortex chamber of diameter of nozzle orifice is within 2.0 and 3.0.
EFFECT: improved quality of fuel atomizing, increased economy, dynamic and ecological characteristics of diesel engine and its service life, improved reliability of nozzles, reduced cost of servicing of fuel system.
