TWO-LAYER DECORATIVE FACING SLAB AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: invention is designed for manufacturing suspended ceilings and facing walls basically in industrial buildings. Slab contains face layer made from mixture of polyvinylacetate emulsion, natural stone (tuff, banded marble, dolomite) crumb with particle size 0.06-1.2, and expanded perlite sand fraction 0.6-2 mm and carrier layer made from mixture of cement binder, expanded perlite sand fraction 2-4 mm, polyvinylacetate emulsion, and, optionally, natural stone crumb. Manufacture of slabs includes manufacturing mixtures for two layers, laying the layers into mold at ambient temperature, leveling and compacting layers, and drying slab at 30-50 C for 12-24 hr. EFFECT: facilitated procedure, extended choice of slabs, reduced expenses, reduced weight, and increased strength and improved heat-insulation capacity of slabs. 4 cl, 1 dwg
