FIELD: decorative materials production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the manufacture of building and decorative materials and can be used for finishing facades, interiors, as well as for design elements. A method for manufacturing flexible bricks on a mesh with a film includes filling into a concrete mixer white crumb of 0.1-1.0 mm fraction from marble or dolomite and microcalcite of 20-100 mcm fraction with the following ratio of components, wt.%: crumb - 50-80, microcalcite - 20-50. Coloring pigments based on iron oxide are added in an amount of 0.1-5% to the crumb weight and the resulting sand is mixed for 15-20 minutes. Styrene-acrylic dispersion Novopol is mixed in a separate container for 3-5 minutes with water at the following ratio of components, wt.% of the mass of sand: Novopol - 9-12, water - 8-11. The resulting liquid is added to the colored sand and the resulting mass is mixed after 5-7 minutes. A plasticizer is added to the resulting mass in an amount of 0.3-0.8% of the mass of sand. The mixture is brought to a creamy consistency by introducing an acrylic thickener in an amount of 0.4-1.5% by weight of the sand. The ready-made mixture is applied to a flexible non-woven base by pulling it through a height-adjustable matrix located at an angle of 40-60°C to the base surface, which ensures the distribution of the mixture in a single uniform and already compacted layer 2-4 mm thick, adjustable matrix installation height and fixed at the beginning the manufacturing process, over the entire area of the base. The workpiece is dried at a temperature of 22-30°C for 24-36 hours. A protective PVC film with a thickness of 100-150 microns is placed on the surface of the front side of the workpiece, it is heated to 100-120°C for 20-30 seconds, the film is pressed into the workpiece by organizing a vacuum from the opposite side of the workpiece. The workpiece is cut into predetermined formats that imitate brickwork. The molded blanks are laid out with the back side up, and with the protective film down on a horizontal surface into the cells of the matrix located on it. A layer of PVA glue is applied over the workpiece and the workpiece is covered with a fiberglass mesh with PVA glue applied to one side of it. The fiberglass mesh is connected with glue by creating uniform pressure with a rolling roller over the entire area of the fiberglass mesh. The stenciled item is turned onto a mesh pallet and is placed in a horizontal drying rack.
EFFECT: increases the strength, flexibility, elasticity of flexible bricks, ease of installation.
