FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: method can be used for development of placer deposits of high density for example of gold or tin, platinum, etc. According to method, placer deposits are subjected to complex treatment by pressure and pressureless water streams at cyclic performance of suffusion operations in mineral seam including surface washing out of mineral particles by pressureless water stream together with application of pressure water stream ejected by hydraulic giant. This ensures migration of valuable components into more dense area of deposit seam and formation of concentrated layer of seam of small thickness, thus allowing for increasing recovery of useful component together with reduction of expenses for development of deposit and improving ecological safety in area of mining operations. Degree of extracting useful mineral from placer deposit is increased due to maximal utilization of energy produced by pressure and pressureless water streams at extraction of placer deposit sands with simultaneous reduction by 2-3 times of power inputs in all processes.
