FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: device to take liquid samples is intended for obtainment of precise volume of liquid sampled from leak-proof vessel fitted with linking fixture to which proposed device can be connected. Given device has float chamber with upper hole closed tightly from inside that communicates with lower end of air duct and with lower hole that communicates with upper end of liquid duct. Device to take liquid samples has floating ball placed in float chamber which dimensions provide for its tight setting in upper hole, vacuum pumping aid based on passage of air through Venturi tube and used to pump air out of float chamber to take sample via air duct located above upper hole of float chamber. Proposed device also has air valve situated below Venturi tube to control direction of air flow through Venturi tube, sleeve coupling connected to lower end of liquid duct which opens when connected to linking fixture on leak-proof vessel and shuts off when disconnected from it, discharge line communicating with liquid duct above sleeve coupling and joined to relief valve. EFFECT: provision for taking precise and definite volumes of liquids which makes it feasible to measure content of impurities in liquid, its quality and physical properties. 19 cl, 5 dwg
