FIELD: building materials. SUBSTANCE: invention describes the composition for making the high-dense mastics involving resorcinol-formaldehyde resin, hardening agent - paraformaldehyde and filling agent characterized with the use of barite as the filling agent of the specific surface 1700-1800 cm2/g at the following ratio of components, wt.-%: resorcinol-formaldehyde resin, 21.9-38.5; paraformaldehyde, 3.1-5.5; and barite, the balance. Invention can be used in making building high-dense mastics in repairing-restoring and finishing works under conditions of enhanced radiation, in part, for fixing seams, joints, cracks and gaps in damaged structure sites and gluing piece facing materials. EFFECT: increased average density and strength of material for protection from ionizing radiation. 1 tbl
