FIELD: hot-water boilers, mainly, smaller boilers used in public services. SUBSTANCE: boiler has brickwork of chamotte bricks, furnace, gas ducts, autonomous convective and furnace radiation modules made in form of tubular baffle walls with headers and drains interconnected in succession by water and opposite flow of flue gases, two lateral convective modules mounted in downtake shafts, furnace radiation ceiling, frontal and lateral baffle walls. According to invention, two lateral convective modules in downtake shafts are made in form of two twin four-way baffle walls; other furnace radiation baffle walls are interconnected in succession via the following chain: lateral four-way baffle wall, frontal two-way baffle wall, second lateral four-way baffle wall and ceiling two-way baffle wall; all baffle walls have one row of windows. Swirlers are coaxially mounted in downtake and uptake tubes of baffle walls on both sides; they are provided with stops secured in tubes of opposite headers. Length of swirler ((l3)) ranges from 0.85 to 9.95 of length of tube (L) and ratio of pitch of twisting (S) of swirler to tube diameter (d) ranges from 1.5 to 4.0. EFFECT: increased heat extraction from unit of boiler area due to intensification of heat exchange; enhanced reliability reduction of baffle wall overheating; improved operating conditions of convective gas duct. 5 cl, 10 dwg
