FIELD: armament and military equipment in particular protection of combat vehicle against means of air attack, for instance with the aid of machine-gun (gun) mounts. SUBSTANCE: information on extreme characteristics (limitations) of the combat vehicle subsystems is preliminary entered in the computer system, and simultaneously with computation of angular corrections of fire and deflection of barrels of the machine - gun or gun mount in accordance with them the current characteristics are compared with the extreme ones, which always shall exceed the current characteristics, and only if this condition is fulfilled, fire is allowed. The computer system additionally uses a fire authorizing device comprising successively connected range monitoring unit, sighting line-up angle monitoring unit, gun barrel elevation angle monitoring unit, monitoring unit of mismatch between the line of sight and line of elevation, monitoring unit of angular velocity of line of sight, and monitoring unit of gun position error, whose output is connected to the third (authorizing) input of the gun mount. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of repelling of raid of air attack means, enhanced ergonomic characteristics of the system, enhanced information ability and better operational control. 7 cl, 7 dwg
