SUBSTANCE: the known method for protection of combat vehicle consists in detection and identification of targets, taking them for tracking, target tracking, determination of the rate of closure of the target with the carrier, calculation of the shell absolute muzzle velocity, flight time and advance range from mathematic expressions, determination of kinematic angular fire corrections, constant deviation with due account made for the mount barrels relative to the sight line and fire the target, the novelty is in the fact that after determination of kinematic angular corrections Δβ, Δε additionally determined are the cross (Wz) and tail (Wx) ballistic wind corrections, mount and sight parallax corrections for the horizontal and vertical channels by mathematic expressions. According to the invention, introduced in the known system for combat vehicle fire, containing an observation - sighting system, navigation system, on-board computer system comprising a device for determination of lead angles are in addition a ballistic wind (Wx,Wz) correction unit for the horizontal channel, a tail wind (Wx) correction unit for the vertical channel, a parallax correction unit for the horizontal channel, a parallax correction unit for the vertical channel, as well as a bank angle metering unit, the first input of the ballistic wind correction unit for the horizontal channel is connected to the output of the flight time (tfl) generation unit, its second input is connected to the first output of the advance range (Dadv) generation unit, the third and fourth inputs are connected respectively to the third and fifth outputs of the observation - sighting system, the fifth and sixth inputs are connected to the outputs of the environment data unit, and the output of the ballistic wind correction unit for the horizontal channel is connected to the second input of the bank angle metering unit; the input of the parallax correction unit for the horizontal channel is connected to the fifth output of the observation-sighting system, and its output is connected to the third input of the bank angle metering unit; the first and second inputs of tail wind correction unit for the vertical channel are connected respectively to the output of the flight time (tfl) generation unit, the first output of the advance range (Dadv) generation unit, its third and fourth inputs are connected respectively to the fourth and fifth outputs of the observation-sighting system, the fifth input - to the output of the environment data unit, and the output of the tail wind correction unit for the vertical channel is connected to the fifth input of the bank angle metering unit; the input of the parallax correction unit for the vertical channel is connected to the fifth output of the observation-sighting system, and its output - to the sixth input of the bank angle metering unit, whose seventh and eight inputs are connected respectively to the first and second outputs of the aiming and diversion angle unit, the ninth input of the bank angle metering unit is connected to the navigation system output, and its first and second outputs are connected to the first inputs of the training and elevation drives.
