FIELD: damping vibrations and noise in hydraulic plants. SUBSTANCE: device includes at least one another envelope (15, 16) made from elastic material; envelope has air pocket (17, 18) and is brought in contact with water circulating through hydraulic plant; envelope (15, 16) is located in this pocket in branch of chamber (19, 20) communicated with cavities through which water flows; this chamber is not subjected to considerable effect of water flow and consequently, envelope is not directly washed by water flow and is not subjected to dynamic action of flow. Envelope (15, 16) may have form of cylinder or capsule. Cavity located in branch (where envelope is positioned) may be brought in communication with hydraulic system by one its end or through holes and passages available in separating member. In any case, envelope (15, 16) may be made from very thin material because it is not in direct contact with water flow with no risk of damage.
