FIELD: acoustics and hydroacoustics. SUBSTANCE: amplifier is, essentially, current generator connected through cable to short-circuited load. Amplifier can be used for reception and measurements in infrasonic and audio frequency ranges when point of reception is to be spaced from monitoring equipment through distance from tens of meters to several hundreds of meters at the same time maintaining desired frequency and phase characteristics. It may also function as microphone amplifier using single-conductor shielded cable to transmit both signal and power. EFFECT: enlarged frequency range and amplifier gain practically independent of cable resistance. 6 cl, 3 dwg
