FIELD: electric engineering.
SUBSTANCE: can be used for selective protection of people against electric injury from, as well as for protection of part of electric circuit against overcurrent resulting from single-phase closing to grounded members of metal structures, single-phase and multiple-phase short circuits and overloads, inadmissible increase in voltage in single-phase circuit. Device has differential transformer, resistors, capacitors, transistor, thyristor, stabilitron, light-emitting diode, and trip with oil, operational amplifier and rectifier bridge. Active members of differential amplifier circuit are put into micro-current mode. Noise-protection properties are formed by means of passive-active filter. Voltage divider is used for protection against overvoltage. Constant operation time of functional units of amplifier is formed.
EFFECT: reduced consumed electric energy; improved reliability; prolonged service life.
