FIELD: equipment for hydraulic classification of materials, in particular, for separation of sand-gritty mixtures. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic screen has housing with cylindrical upper part and conical lower part, housing closure, supply branch pipe with adjusting slide valve, coarse and fine screening product discharge branch pipes, and conical sieve. Shell coaxially disposed inside cylindrical part of housing is constructed of lengthwise spaced sieves having working surfaces faced toward shell inner cavity and conical cover coupled to shell and disposed in equally spaced relation to conical sieve. Conical cover is constructed of interconnected sectors arranged at an angle one relative to another. Each sector has longitudinal sieves arranged in parallel one with another and plate secured on inner surface of conical sieve and made in the form of descending Archimedian spiral. Supply branch pipe is in communication with inner cavity of shell. Conical sieve is connected with vibration exciter through column. Sectors of longitudinal sieves are positioned at an angle of 30-45 deg one relative to another. EFFECT: increased efficiency by increased sieving surface area and improved quality of screened product by eliminating presence of large-sized particles in small-sized particle product. 3 cl, 4 dwg
