FIELD: equipment for hydraulic classification of materials, in particular, separation of sandy-gritty mixtures. SUBSTANCE: hydraulic screen has housing with cylindrical upper part and conical lower part, closure, tangential supply branch pipe, large-sized and small-sized screening product discharge pipes, and conical sieve. Shell coaxially disposed inside cylindrical part of housing is constructed of transverse spaced sieves whose working surfaces are faced into shell cavity. Supply branch pipe is in communication with shell inner cavity. Shell is mounted by means of column and tie-rods on housing top for rotation relative to it. EFFECT: increased efficiency by increased area of screening surface and intensified process without changing dimensions of screen. 3 dwg
