PULLING AND LEVELLING LEVER FOR CAR BODY REPAIR STANDS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: automotive industry; repair facilities. SUBSTANCE: proposed pulling and levelling lever has base connected with repair stand and upright extending from base and provided with pulling members to be brought into engagement with section of car installed on stand subject to repair. Pulling lever has first support plate connected for sliding with stand beam; second support plate hinge coupled with first plate to provided turning of base around first horizontal axle arranged at right angle relative to front plate of first plate for application of base to repair stand; third support plate hinge-coupled with second plate for turning base around second axle arranged at right angle relative to first axle, and hinge axial members for turning base around third axle (its own axle) arranged at right angle relative to second axle. Turning of pulling lever base around these axles can be locked separately by means of corresponding locking members which can be applied or released to change position of upright relative to repair stand depending on position of car section and direction of force applied to this section for repair.
