FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method includes location in biological prosthesis of perforated tube from chemically inert flexible material; injection of preserving mixture into clearance between biological prosthesis and tube; closing it; location of prosthesis in preserving mixture including additionally introduced petrolatum in the amount of 50-60 ml per liter of mixture; performance of sterilization of venous biological prosthesis for 10-12 h. After introduction of preserving mixture into clearance between prosthesis and perforated tube, required shape is imparted to biological prosthesis. Method allows rapid preparation of vascular prosthesis for creation of prolonged thromboresistant arterio-venous access to blood for performance detoxication in patients ill with terminal stage of chronic renal insufficiency.
