FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: catheter has silicon tube with perforated abdominal end and two fixing collars positioned in central part of tube. Abdominal end of catheter has bevel of 25-30 deg. and is provided with streamlined end piece with hole. End piece is made of inert flexible material and secured on external surface of catheter from side of acute corner. During implantation of catheter for peritoneal dialysis operative access to abdominal cavity is obtained, and catheter is arranged in lower part of abdominal cavity with external end of catheter brought out to skin through contraperture hole. Then distal end of catheter is secured in region of small pelvis. This allows positioning and fixing of catheter in most sloping part of small pelvis, which facilitates fuller drain of peritoneal solution during its replacement. Catheter makes it possible to reduce cost of treatment and to avoid complications in early and far post-operative periods. EFFECT: higher degree of patient's rehabilitation. 2 cl, 1 dwg
