MEANS OF INDIVIDUAL PROTECTION AT HYDROGEN-SULFIDE PROCESSES Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: medicine, in particular, toxicology, associated with creation of means of individual protection combining physical and chemical methods of organism protection at hydrogen-sulfide processes. SUBSTANCE: complex of objects of physical protection: helmet-mask, filtering box and pouch (gas mask) are supplemented with means of chemical protection - an antidote case. It has an ampoule with antidote, means for intramuscular injection (sterile disposable syringe), means for disinfection of the point of injection (a piece of cloth impregnated with antiseptic in a foil bag) and a saw for opening the ampoule. The case is furnished with brief instructions on use. Antidote features an ability to fix H₂S, decreasing the degree of its harmful effect.
