SUBSTANCE: invention is related to equipment to realize contact between steam (gas) and liquid in rectification and absorption processes for separation of mixtures. Valve plate includes base with holes where laminated valves are installed. Width of their covers narrows towards drain partition. Rear part of cover of valve on side of intake pocket has rectangular form. Stream of steam emerging in zone of rectangular part of valve is directed perpendicular to general direction of flow of liquid on plate and facilitates additional hydraulic compensation for direct-flow component of speed of stream of steam emerging in zone of narrowing part of cover of valve. Such implementation increases time of contact of phases and enhances functional efficiency of valve plate. EFFECT: provision for enhanced efficiency of contact between phases under increased steam loads thanks to rise in degree of hydraulic compensation for direct-flow component of speed of steam stream and increased time of contact of phases on plate. 2 cl, 5 dwg
