SUBSTANCE: invention relates to contact devices for heat and mass transfer of vapor (gas) and liquid phases in rectification or absorption columns and can be used in oil, gas, chemical, food and other industries. The valve plate of the mass transfer column includes a horizontal sheet with holes fixed to the body of the mass transfer column. A lot of movable valves are installed in the holes of the horizontal sheet. The movable valves consist of a disc-shaped reflective profiled cover, made taking into account the physicochemical properties of the phases and coupled with three equal posts inserted into the holes of the horizontal sheet and providing free movement of the reflective profiled cover in the vertical direction, with lifting height limiters.
EFFECT: intensification of the mass transfer process, an increase in the efficiency of the plate and a wide range of its stable operation.
