SUBSTANCE: drilling mud contains, wt %: polyvalent metal salt (aluminum chloride), 1.33-2.67; industrial-grade, chalk 1.5-4.0; sodium chloride, 0.1-20.0; alkali reagent, 0.1-0.5; stabilizer, 1.5-3.0; and water, the balance. Invention enables preparing both fresh and variably mineralized compositions with low content of solid phase. Preparation method is extremely simple and requires minimum time, components involved are low expensive and accessible. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of rotary drill treatment accelerated drilling, and increased safety in deep and horizontal hole making under complicated conditions. 3 tbl, 2 ex
