SUBSTANCE: fabric has filaments disposed between lower and upper surfaces and twisted and entangled with adjacent filaments to define predetermined pattern of openings in fabric. Loops formed of cuts of filaments are inserted into some openings. Loop has plurality of parallel U-shaped filaments, with open end of U-shaped loop being directed to one side of fabric and closed end of loop being directed to other side of fabric. Other version of fabric has draping index of at least 75 deg in any direction of fabric. Fabrics simulate appearance of knitted cloth.
