LOCKING DEVICE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: locking appliances. SUBSTANCE: device has common assembly with body which contains rotor interacting with grip which is turnable and installed on rod functioning as turning axle. This assembly is connected with locking facilities such as handle or pair of handles. In assembling of device, its components are successively self-secured. Device is installed in lateral opening of door leaf so that handle is inserted from aside and is directed towards free end face of door. In result, body of locking device is installed in lateral opening of door leaf. After that, main part of handle is turned through 180 deg. until reaching neutral position at which handle is loaded by force of return spring unit which is acting on rotor. Guide bush is installed in radial threaded hole made in body of locking device. This is needed for fixing guide bush in longitudinal direction and fitting spring-biased latch into it. Grip is made in the form of crank lever having yoke for catching internal end of latch, and pusher interacting with recess in member with bevelled protrusion positioned between cheeks of rotor. Aforesaid embodiment of locking device is simple in installing. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 17 cl, 19 dwg
