FIELD: mechanical engineering; spark ignition engines. SUBSTANCE: first electrode of device is installed in cylinder head, and second electrode is provided with step over outer surface of piston crown, both electrodes being electrically coupled with piezoelectric member arranged in piston and contacting with pressure member also installed in piston. Mechanical drive is hinge-connected to connecting rod coupled with piston, and pressure and piezoelectric members are installed so that one of them engages by its end with mechanical drive and other is hinge coupled with piston crown. Piezoelectric member should be preferably arranged in one of coaxially installed cylinders for their relative displacement along axis. One end face of one of cylinders is hinge-coupled with connecting rod, and the other is hinge-coupled with piston crown. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of device. 8 cl, 2 dwg
