Method of preparing the claimed composition involves mixing clotting factor VIII with polysorbate-80 and other components or chromatography purification of recombinant clotting factor VIII and its eluting at the last stage of purification with a buffer containing polysorbate-80. Invention relates to also the use of polysorbate-80 as a stabilizing agent of the composition containing recombinant clotting factor VIII.
