FIELD: agriculture, in particular, equipment for separating difficult to separate seed materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding seed material to upper run of endless movable belt and collecting separated products; separating part of basic material and supplying it to lower run of endless belt. Apparatus has endless movable main belt mounted in inclined position on drums, main feeding hopper with feeding branch pipes, drive and separated product receptacles. Apparatus is further provided with auxiliary hopper having feeding branch pipes, auxiliary endless belt positioned between upper and lower runs of main belt, and auxiliary separated product receptacles. Feeding branch pipes of main feeding hopper are arranged above upper runs of endless belts and feeding branch pipes of auxiliary feeding hopper are positioned above lower runs of endless belts.
