FIELD: packing. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has gripper to take carton blank from magazine. Gripper is installed for rotary movement from first position near magazine into second position close to stop which catches carton blank corner. Shutoff installed for rotation is set into operation simultaneously with gripper. When gripper is shifted from first into second position, shutoff applies separating effort to facilitated passage of air through inner space of carton blank. Simultaneously with or directly before the moment when carton blank corner comes in contact with support, shutoff applies straightening effort to facilitate opening of carton blank and setting it in completely assembled position.
