FIELD: water treatment in water and heat supply systems. SUBSTANCE: method includes heating of treated water by combustion of gases, treatment in diaphragm cell and filtering through ion exchangers. Gases formed in electrolysis are directed to combustion chamber for water heating, and electrolytes formed in anode and cathode chambers are directed for regeneration of ion exchangers whose ion- exchange capacity is expired. EFFECT: reduced power and material expenses due to use of electrolysis products for regeneration of ion exchangers and for heating of treated water. 2 cl, 1 dwg
