FIELD: chemical industry, more particularly processing of liquid waste for producing products in solid form such as biofuel. SUBSTANCE: liquid waste is mixed with solid additive containing hydrophobic peat granules as filler which constitute at least one half of solid additive. Mixture is further treated by pressing using method which makes it possible to recover water from material being pressed. The resulting particles become hardened and are rendered hygienic due to prevention of activity of bacteria therein. To this end, coating formed of mixture of lime water or ash and water is applied into particles. EFFECT: recovery of water from liquid waste for further processing thereof to produce solid product. 9 cl, 3 dwg
