FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: this relates to erection of power transmission and communication line support. Power transmission line support has cross-member and tower created by net-like shell from composite material. This is obtained by winding fibrous material over mandrel and fastening it by means of binding agent. Tower can be made of separate sections. Each section of tower is created by bound turns of band with net-like framework and with flanges for connection with flanges of adjacent section. For connecting cross-member with tower, installed between sections is adapter piece with bearing units. Each bearing unit incorporates shell secured in body of adapter piece. Shell has internal spherical surface and installed in it for possible turning is ring with external spherical surface. Made in external spherical surface of turnable ring are slots for placing there piece of band made of composite material which is used for creation of net-like sheathing of cross-member. In making cross-member beams in the form of net-like sheathing, possible are different versions of connecting beams to obtain three-dimensional structures of higher stiffness. Aforesaid embodiment of power transmission line support is of reduced mass and easy to manufacture. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 25 dwg
