METHOD OF DEVELOPMENT OF OIL FIELDS Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

FIELD: oil- producing industry, particularly, methods of development of oil fields with formation pressure maintenance by means of water flooding. SUBSTANCE: method includes injection of process fluid into bottom-hole formation zone. Ultrasonic generator is located in process fluid. Formed in highly permeable sections and fissures of bottom-hole formation zone is hydrophobic barrier with low permeability for water and high permeability for oil. Active fluid is used in form of fluid with surface tension on boundary with steam within the range of 20-35 mPa/s, density exceeding that of water used for flooding, at least, by 100 kg/cu.m and viscosity equalling that of water phase or exceeding it by a factor of not in excess of 20. Frequency range of ultrasonic radiation is taken 10-15, 22-44 and 320-960 kHz. Bottom-hole formation zone is cleaned from depositions and from other silting the formation materials by their dispersing and dissolving under the effect of ultrasound in medium of active fluid to convert them into finely divided suspension with solid particles sizing within 0.5-20 mcm and to use them for formation of hydrophobic barrier.
