METHOD OF TREATMENT OF NONUNIFORM OIL-GAS FORMATIONS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: oil and gas producing industry, particularly, methods of treatment of producing and injection wells with flow-deflecting and water shutoff compositions and also methods of repair and shutoff operations. SUBSTANCE: method includes recovery of oil or gas from wells. After detection of water in product, injected through producing or injection wells is intensifying agent for demudding and increase of formation permeability. Then, flow-deflecting or water shutoff reagents are injected to form barrier on way of water inflow through formation zones of high permeability. Prior to treatment, clogged nonoperating formation producing intervals are determined on basis of geophysical and hydrodynamic researches or study of core material. After injection of flow-deflecting or water-shutoff reagents, low-permeability and nonoperating clogged intervals of formation are subjected to ultrasonic treatment. EFFECT: increased efficiency of treatment and formation oil and gas recovery due to restoration and increase of permeability of low-permeability intervals clogged with flow-deflecting and water-shutoff reagents and also with formation and well clogging materials. 4 cl, 1 dwg, 2 tbl
