FIELD: stand- by expendable primary off-line current supplies for power- dependent equipment. SUBSTANCE: generator is, essentially, electrochemical cell that has contacting anode, separator, and cathode made of pyrotechnic compounds and metal current leads. Maximum size to thickness ratio of anode, cathode, and separator is 25 to 135 and their composition is as follows, mass percent: separator: metal fuel - 14-42, oxidizer - 50-84, asbestos - 2-8; anode: metal fuel - 80-98, asbestos - 2-20; cathode: oxidizer - 50.5-80, lithium fluoride or alkaline-earth metal fluoride, or their mixture - 15-25, metal fuel - 0.5-19, asbestos - 2-8. Elementary cells can be assembled in batteries with proportionally increasing open-circuit voltage, current, and other characteristics.
