FIELD: actuation of fire-fighting installations without power supply sources while protecting large area objects. SUBSTANCE: autonomous heat starter has body housing inductance coil in magnetoconductive frame and permanent magnets connected by like poles and anchored on rod for movement inside inductance coil and thermal fuze. Lead-out of inductance coil is connected by conductors to igniter of pyrotechnic generator whose anodes and cathodes are made of anode and cathode compositions. Cathode composition includes magnesium as fuel, copper oxide and asbestos as oxidizing agent with proportion of components, mas.%: magnesium, 0.5-20.0; asbestos, 2.5-15.0; copper oxide, the balance. EFFECT: given autonomous heat starter makes it possible to prolong operational time, to increase electric characteristics, to rise output power of electric pulse generated by starter hundred time. 1 cl, 1 dwg, 2 tbl
