FIELD: communication. SUBSTANCE: communication network having collection of routing devices, collection of base stations and collection of mobile stations maintains communication with mobile stations by assignment of unambiguously definite address known to objects of routing of network to each mobile station. Location of mobile station turns known to all routing devices of network by inclusion of unambiguously definite address of mobile station into information on updating of topology of network. It means s mobile station moves to area of new point of access and establishes new communication line with new point of access it will use mechanism of updating of topology of network to notify all routing devices of its new position. On receipt of information on updating of topology corresponding to new position of mobile station by routing device of network the latter updates its routing table so that packages intended for this mobile station are directed into channel which this mobile station terminates and has its new point of access. EFFECT: provision for effective communication with mobile stations moving from one area to another in same communication system. 9 cl, 15 dwg
