FIELD: scanning buoys. SUBSTANCE: scanning thermal buoy has pressure cylindrical housing with instrument container and bellows of larger and smaller diameters which are hermetically interconnected and field with volatile liquid; bellows of lesser diameter extends beyond pressure cylindrical housing. One end wall of bellows of larger diameter rests against lateral surface of cylindrical housing and its second end wall which is connected with rod engageable with stop is engageable in its turn spring pressed between this wall and opposite wall of cylindrical housing. Opposite end walls of bellows are rigidly connected by means of rod passing through their common inner cavity. EFFECT: enhanced reliability; possibility of automatic scanning at depth. 1 dwg
