FIELD: mechanical engineering; shipbuilding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technique of ocean development, namely to underwater vehicles with variable buoyancy. Device is proposed for changing buoyancy of an underwater vehicle, comprising a sealed housing, a hydraulic drive pump, a moving working fluid, pipelines, controlled valves, a hydraulic cylinder with a piston in it with a rod and spring, filled with the working fluid and an inert gas and connected via pipelines and control valves to the hydraulic drive pump. In this case, the rod is installed with the ability to move between the environment and an internal volume of the hydraulic cylinder, realizing the functions of an external receiver of variable volume. Functions of an internal receiver of variable volume realize a sub-piston space of the hydraulic cylinder, which is filled with the working fluid only partially, rest is filled with the inert gas, while a spring, which is put on the rod, is placed between the piston and the bottom of the cylinder.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improving the operational characteristics of the device for changing buoyancy of the underwater vehicle.
