FIELD: shipbuilding; propellers provided with devices for reduction of cavitation damage. SUBSTANCE: propeller is provided with blades and boss and axial air supply passage for feeding air to tail section of boss and to edges of blade suction surfaces; these edges are made in form of rubber jaws. Air supply passage is fitted with adjusting check valve. EFFECT: reduction of erosion damage to blades; enhanced efficiency of propeller. 1 dwg
