HYDRAULIC PROPELLER BLADE Russian patent published in 1999 - IPC

Abstract RU 2127208 C1

FIELD: shipbuilding; hydraulic propeller blades. SUBSTANCE: suction surface of blade has maximum ordinate at distance of no more than 0.6 of chord length from trailing edge and driving surface has convex-concave form. Suction surface has section of increased curvature in area of trailing edge and inflection point of line forming the driving surface lies at distance of 0.6 to 0.6 of chord length from leading edge. EFFECT: cavitation-free operation of propeller with no ventilation of blades; enhanced efficiency. 10 cl, 10 dwg
