FIELD: materials handling facilities; loading of large-size bulky materials in mining industry. SUBSTANCE: loading machine has shifting mechanism, working member made in form of U-shaped chute with wedge-type actuating member installed for reciprocating under action of hydraulic cylinders, and transfer conveyor. Actuating member of loading machine is made in form of alternating movable intercoupled wedges and fixed wedges. Movable wedges can reciprocate under action of single-acting hydraulic cylinders mechanically coupled with first and last movable wedges. Shifting mechanism is made in form of hydraulic cylinder installed under working member chute bottom, and chain secured on anchor leading the machine at moment of shifting. EFFECT: increased efficiency of loading, possibility of operation with pile formed on machine working member. 2 dwg
