FIELD: lacquer coatings. SUBSTANCE: bismuth oxide is specifically brought into interaction with lactic acid and resulting bismuthyl oxide-bismuth oxide mixture is dispersed in lacquer binder. These compositions are used as catalytic components in cathodically precipitated lacquers. Lacquers prepared in such way possess excellent capability of being applied as coatings and films.
