FIELD: thermal engineering, chemical and oil refining industries. SUBSTANCE: burner assembly designed for burning various kinds of fuel has cylindrical case with air ports, gas header mounted on its base and provided with gas trunks arranged over case generating line, and cylindrical chamber coaxial with respect to case which has liquid injector; air ports are of triangular or trapezoidal shape with large base facing front of burner assembly with axes parallel to those of gas trunks on length 20-40% of that of assembly case; injector box has slits arranged at same elevation as air ports and is offset relative to the latter over circumference in staggered manner; total area of slits equals 10-25% of that of air ports. EFFECT: improved characteristics of fuel combustion, enlarged functional capabilities. 8 cl, 4 dwg
