FIELD: water boiling. SUBSTANCE: electric heating container to boil water has flat heating element built into base of container. Flat heating element includes plate of stainless steel which lower side carries printed heating element positioned between electric insulation layers of glass. Control element that disconnects heating element from power supply source in case of overheating incorporates primary actuating mechanism in the form of bimetal member which has direct access to printed heating element through window made in insulation layer of glass in point most distant from center and bimetal member is held in secondary actuating mechanism in the form of holder of bimetal member that is destroyed under action of heat which establishes contact with insulation layer of glass around window. Thus primary and secondary actuating mechanisms are subjected to action of different temperatures. Closed spot located on opposite ( moist ) side of flat heating element in point corresponding to position of window has holes which provide for passage of water when container is filled and simulation of state of overheating taken by bimetal member when water boils in container and when steam created in closed spot drives water out of it. So one control element ensures automatic disconnection from power supply source when water boils and protects element against overheating. EFFECT: increased functional reliability of container. 15 cl
