FIELD: agriculture, in particular, surface soil cultivation. SUBSTANCE: rotary tiller is made in the form of spiral and provided with two self-vibrating devices. Unbalance of one vibrating device is rotating in horizontal plane and unbalance of other vibrating device is rotating in vertical plane to obtain harmonics from total value of vibrations. Spiral is fixed on hubs mounted on frame. Teeth are secured in spiral coils. Vibration amplitude and frequency are adjusted in accordance with soil characteristics. Value of perturbing force acting upon system is calculated from expression: F= mrw2, where m is unbalance weight; r is radius of unbalance unit relative to its axis of revolution; w is angular speed.
