FIELD: veterinary medicine. SUBSTANCE: cows with weight up to 400 kg receive 50 ml and those heavier than 400 kg - 60 ml of cow's placenta extract in combination with specific bacteriophage injected into region of ischioanal recess, into loose connective tissue from two sides to the depth of 3-5 cm. Injection is made two times, each with half dose: the first injection 6-8 hr after delivery and the second one 8-12 hr later. EFFECT: prevented postnatal endometritis due to biogenic body stimulation, enhanced contraction ability of uterus, and enhanced antimicrobial effect on uterine microflora. 2 cl
