FIELD: veterinary medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves administering cow placenta extraction having specific bacteriophages to cows. The preparation is administered into the ischiorectal fossa region as injection into loose connective fat to a depth of 3-5 cm from two sides at a dose of 0.1 ml per 1 kg of animal body mass. The dose is divided into two parts, and the preparation is applied twice. The first injection is done directly after birth. The second one is done 8-12 h later after the first injection.
