FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: device can be used for example in control of hard-to-cave roof, preserving underground openings, degassing of rock mass, etc. Device has hydraulic cylinder with hollow rod which carries hermetically sealing members separated by caprone washers, thrust bush, faceted bush with turning wedges, and spring located between thrust bush and faceted bush. At delivering liquid under pressure into hydraulic cylinder, taking place is compression and counter-direction movement of hermetic sealing members. When bushes draw together, wedges bite into walls of bore-hole and create zones of concentrated stresses and mechanical fissures. With that, hermetic sealing members seal-off bore-hole and zone of concentrated stresses. After extending of wedges to working position, liquid under pressure is delivered from hollow rod into space between bushes and into created fissures. In result, directed hydraulic fracturing occurs. Application of aforesaid embodiment of device allows for increasing operational efficiency, cutting scale of hand labour, enhancing reliability of producing directed fissures.
