FIELD: measuring technology; position sensors in servo-drives. SUBSTANCE: sensor is made in form of magnetic amplifier with magnetic circuit in form of Ф--shaped frame. Side rods of upper and lower ports of magnetic circuit of magnetic amplifier are provided with two two-section AC windings. Other three rods are connected with six parallel rod-type magnetic circuits on both sides of magnetic amplifier; four extreme rods carry field windings. Sensor is also provided with four movable cores with measuring windings located perpendicularly relative to magnetic circuits. Field windings located on different sides of magnetic amplifier form pairs. Field windings of each pair are opposing windings. Both pairs of windings are connected in parallel. Measuring windings may be connected by bridge measuring circuit. EFFECT: linear travel sensor makes it possible to simultaneously measure linear travel and speed of four objects being monitored. 2 dwg
